Adjustable Heat Control — 0–12 cm

Unlike fixed-height incense burners, Aurooa Elevate offers a wide 0–12 cm adjustment range, allowing you to change the distance between the heat source and incense dish. Move the dish closer for stronger heat or raise it for slower, gentler warming, giving you greater control over fragrance intensity and aroma development.

Solid Brass Construction

The main structural components are made from solid brass rather than plated or coated metal. The sturdy brass rod, weighted low-center-of-gravity base and brass incense dish create a stable, durable burner designed for long-term use.

Designed for Easier Heat Adjustment

A bamboo heat-insulating handle allows the height to be adjusted more comfortably during use, while the bamboo insulating cap provides an additional touch point at the top of the burner. Heat-insulating components around the base also help reduce direct heat transfer to the surface underneath.

Two Heating Methods

Use a tealight candle for slower, gentler warming and a softer, more delicate aroma experience, or use charcoal with a Heat Shield Sheet for stronger heat and a richer, warmer, more traditional resin incense character.

The adjustable design lets you fine-tune the heating distance for different resin incenses and personal fragrance preferences.

I bought the Lotus because I liked the shape, but after using it for a few weeks I appreciate the practical details even more. I usually heat myrrh on the mica sheet because the scent develops more slowly and I can notice its warm, slightly sweet character better. When I want something stronger, I just place the resin directly on the charcoal. Having both options in the same burner is very convenient.

 I've had this for just over three weeks and still haven't made it through all eleven resins. I started with the Royal Green, then compared the Somali and Ethiopian frankincense on separate evenings. They're definitely not interchangeable — some are brighter, while others feel much drier or earthier. The 10g jars looked small when I opened the box, but considering how little I use each time, they're plenty for sampling properly.

 I've always burned frankincense on charcoal, so the first thing I noticed was how different the scent was with this burner. I started with the dish fairly high above the candle and lowered it little by little. The Royal Green took a few minutes to warm up, but once it did I could smell the fresh, slightly citrusy notes much more clearly. With charcoal I usually get a stronger hit of smoke straight away. This is slower, but much nicer for an evening indoors.

 There was a bit of trial and error on the first evening. I put the dish too close to the flame and the resin started smoking more than I wanted. Once I raised it a couple of centimetres, it settled down and released fragrance without much visible smoke. I'd suggest starting higher than you think and moving down slowly.
