Natural resin incense is made from aromatic plant resins that have been valued for centuries for their distinctive fragrances. Frankincense, traditionally obtained from Boswellia trees, can range from fresh and citrus-like to warm, woody and balsamic depending on its origin and variety. Myrrh, from Commiphora trees, typically offers a deeper, earthier and more bittersweet aroma.

Different resins can be enjoyed using traditional charcoal or with gentle indirect heat. An adjustable incense burner allows you to control the distance between the heat source and the resin, making it easier to explore how different frankincense, myrrh and other natural resins release their aromas.
