Designed around a simple charcoal-free, candle-heated system, this ceramic incense burner combines a ceramic body with a removable stainless steel mesh incense tray. Instead of placing resin directly over an open flame or burning it on hot charcoal, the burner uses rising heat from a tealight candle to gradually warm the incense from below.

Gentle, Even Heat for Natural Resin Incense

The ceramic burner measures approximately 10 cm in height, creating an appropriate distance between the candle flame and the stainless steel mesh tray.
This structure helps prevent the flame from coming into direct contact with the incense while still allowing heat to reach the mesh efficiently.
Once the candle is lit, warmth quickly begins to build inside the ceramic chamber. The enclosed ceramic body helps direct rising heat toward the upper mesh tray, allowing the incense to warm progressively rather than being exposed directly to the flame.
As the temperature gradually increases, the aromatic compounds within frankincense resin and other natural incense materials are released slowly and progressively. This creates a more layered aromatic experience while reducing the risk of scorching or directly igniting the incense.

Charcoal-Free Frankincense Burning

Traditional resin incense is often burned directly over charcoal, which produces intense heat and may cause delicate aromatic materials to burn quickly.
The Terra Ceramic Frankincense Burner offers a gentler charcoal-free alternative. A tealight candle provides indirect heat, making it especially suitable for those who prefer to warm frankincense and natural resin incense without charcoal.
There is no need to light charcoal or place the resin directly into a flame. Simply light a suitable tealight candle, place a small amount of incense on the stainless steel mesh tray and allow the heat to gradually release its natural aroma.

Removable & Replaceable Stainless Steel Mesh Tray

The fine stainless steel mesh incense tray allows heat to rise efficiently from the candle chamber while supporting resin pieces, wood granules and other compatible aromatic materials.
The mesh tray is removable and replaceable, making routine maintenance easier. After use, allow the burner and tray to cool completely. Larger hardened resin residues can then be carefully removed with the included stainless steel tweezers or an appropriate cleaning tool.
Each set includes 2 stainless steel mesh incense trays, allowing you to alternate or replace the tray when necessary.
